We are two organizations cohabiting the same premises. First we have SHEC Community Center. This is a fully licensed non-religious non-profit organization with its own 501(c)3. Second we also have South Hills Evangelical Church who meetings in the community center for services. You can give to either organization and be rest assured that your money will go to the organization of your designation. Why do we give?

SHEC is a come as you are church. As we like to say at services, we are not after your money, there is no entrance or exit fee to worship with us. SHEC, as with any church, is entirely supported by the donations of the people that call SHEC their church home. For those visiting our church (or this site) we suggest that they keep their wallets in their pockets and just enjoy the community of Christ at SHEC. But for those of us who call SHEC our church home, giving to the ministry is a part of our worship. We do not give out of obligation but out of gratitude knowing that what we have been given was first given to us. And in that knowledge we gladly give in return.
