The Goods:

The UpComing Generation is South Hills Evangelical Church's primary vehicle for imparting God-centered, Christ-exalting, Biblical truth to infants through 5th grade.

Our Children's Ministry is an interactive, safe environment where children learn about Jesus and apply the gospel in a way that is culturally relevant to their lives. We want our children to have a deeply rooted confidence in God's character that leads them to passionately follow Him whether days are good or hard.

We care a great deal about families and children and believe that parents hold the primary place of influence in their children's life (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). As parents shepherd their children through scripture, we are committed to equipping them on how nurture and teach their children in the truths and ways of the Lord.

In September we are excited to begin using curriculum from Children Desiring God http://www.childrendesiringgod.org/. Please check back with us in the coming weeks for more details.
